Which is better - a canoe, kayak, or raft?

This depends on the experience you desire. A kayak, swift and maneuverable, is ideal for a single paddler. A kayak is the perfect craft for a paddler who is confident in their skills and desires more independence. A canoe requires two paddlers, and are fast but less maneuverable than kayaks. Canoes are great for parties of 2 or 3 who prefer to share a watercraft and desire to have more maneuverability and speed than a raft. A raft is suitable for parties of four to eight passengers. Rafts are incredibly stable and travel slowly in comparison to a kayak or canoe, making them a good choice for families and youth paddlers.
